This hit home with me today. Today is Alexander’s first day of all day kindergarten. While I had many things on my to-do list, I also have John Paul here at home. Granted, now he’s down for a nap, I’m currently here at the computer, I’m doing laundry–washing and folding, and had to yell at the neighbor’s dog to stop barking. So a little multi-tasking, but again, JP is asleep. We have had a fun day today. We went on a walk, colored, ate a smoothie together, played Cootie his way, showered, made dinner, vacuumed, and read stories. I’m definitely missing Alexander. Not having him around is going to take some getting used to. Still on my to-do list is to blog about last night’s awesome Bruce Springsteen concert that Jaime took me to!
We didn’t get home until after 12:30am. Bruce played non-stop for over 3 hours. The tickets said the concert was to start at 7:30…it didn’t start until almost 9pm. Well worth the wait, though. Here’s a review of the concert since I must get to the laundry before having to leave in 15 minutes for violin.

My neighbor went to the concert and she said it was AWESOME!!! They have seen him three times and she said this one was, by far, the best they have ever seen.
